“ Lovely private pods, which were very peaceful, clean and tidy, and even had a little 'garden' to enjoy. Very spacious inside, lovely comfy bed, clean and fresh bedding and towels. Gorgeous complimentary toiletries, and very quiet pods. The breakfasts, both cooked and continental where the best ever (and we've stayed in hotels all over the country!!). Overall a very hard to beat experience and a highly recommended place to stay - thank you! ”
“ Had a great last minute stay at The Weeping Willow. The cabins are so cosy and love the furnishing and style of the rooms. The view was stunning and we really enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning. All the amenities were great, good coffee and lots of choice for tea in the morning. The bed was really comfy. We opted to have bar food which was great. There were plenty of vegan, vegetarian and dairy free options. We both loved the Padron Peppers and the triple cooked chips. The pub has a lovely cosy vibe and the smell of the wood burning in the fire was lovely. Would really recommend. We booked a stay including breakfast which was a classic fry up. Beautifully cooked with quality ingredients. It was a brilliant stay. ”
“ Tempted out to a mid-week lunch by the January Sale menu we we're both really pleasantly surprised. The dinning room was busy with a good atmosphere, service was spot-on and the food quality was excellent. Will definitely return and continue to explore the Chestnut range of venues. Many thanks. ”
“ Just back from a fantastic stay at this place, the website doesn't do it justice. The lodges are incredibly peaceful and feel very secluded with lovely views. The staff were friendly, welcoming and went over and above to help us enjoy a fab stay. We were kindly comped an upgrade to a hot tub lodge which was perfect heated in the evening but also enjoyable cold to cool down during the current heatwave. And the rooms have air conditioning too. We'll be back! ”
“ Wife and I went for Sunday lunch. I knew it going to be good the moment I drove into the car park as it was rammed. Great service, superb food with a great wine selection. It’s a real skill to serve consistently good quality food. The weeping willow nailed it ”
“ Went for Sunday roast today after having previously been for an evening meal. The restaurant is beautiful with an open view kitchen and dining seating is in a large glass conservatory style room looking out to a beautiful garden area. Staff were very lovely, it was very busy and they were attentive and very friendly. Unfortunately our drinks order was miscommunicated to the bar so we had no drink til after our starters however I must say they were very apologetic and removed the drinks from our bill. These things happen and we were pleased with how the mistake was rectified. The food was gorgeous, we had the full 3 courses as we just couldn’t turn down trying a pudding when the first 2 courses had been delicious. Very fairly priced and a great spot! Will definitely return! ”
“ What an amazing find! Great location! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds. I will recommend this place to all my friends. ”
“ Stayed at the Weeping Willow last weekend for my Birthday. The rooms are Really nicely decorated and clean, the beds are very comfortable. Nice to have a sofa to relax in the rooms also. There is an adjacent room where the tea / coffee is located & out door seating at the back is also a nice touch. The food in the restaurant is very good and an amazing breakfast too. Will certainly be returning soon! Highly recommended ”
